It represent the very right philosophy of art sleeping. Why is that? COCO-MAT means a natural sleep, on a natural materials bed, the multilayers mattresses and exceptional adapting pillows, since, we are not all the same, are we? Nevertheless, we all share the joy and bliss of waking up in the morning happy and complete rest.

Sleep Principles – connoisseurs only

Based on the idea that our body (or soma in Greek) naturally knows what is right (Orto in Greek) for it, we have developed highly elastic mattresses that can perfectly adapt to any shape and form. Multiple layers of natural materials are stacked inside each product. No metal springs are used.

Harder layers, such as coconut fiber, provide bodyweight support, while the more elastic layers of natural latex follow the body’s shape, gently hugging every curve. Instead of making your body adapt to the ways of a metal-spring mattress, we made a mattress that surrenders to your body. That’s the essence of the orthosomatic principle!

Step-by-step, we devote countless hours to make each ergo–base by hand and place it inside the bed–mattresses. It may take a little longer, but we are sure it’s made just right. After all, the ergo–base is the single most important element of our signature sleep systems.

The ergo–base is an ingenious device – a nifty innovation designed to take our comfort to new frontiers. It consists of bendy eucalyptus wood slats, which rest on three or four rolls of natural latex. Each slat is carefully secured inside a fabric pocket, sewn on the outer cover of the rolls.

The ergo–base makes the bed-mattress virtually bottomless by responding to every body movement and gently absorbing weight. It offers maximum elasticity, allows for perfect air circulation and provides even support and weight distribution.

A long, long time ago, before man walked the earth, the bright sun decided to bless all living creatures with his life-bearing gifts. Every day he would offer his light and warmth to the forest trees and singing birds, and misty rivers and deep seas. He’d give companionship to the mighty cactus, standing alone and proud, amidst the wild plains and rocky mountains, for days and years and eons.
